DOG DAYS PHOTOGRAPHY
Privacy Notice
Last updated: 16 August 2026
Dog Days Photography is a dog photography service based in Swansea, South Wales. This notice explains how we use personal information when you contact us, send a session enquiry or make a booking.
What information we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we may collect your name, area, email address, UK phone number, your dog's name and details, your requested session date and time, any promo code you use, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss and arrange a photography session, manage availability, confirm or administer bookings, apply and measure promotions you choose to use, contact you about your session, and keep appropriate business records.
Where the information is needed to take steps you ask us to take before a booking, or to provide an agreed photography service, our lawful basis is contract. We may also use limited information where necessary for legitimate business administration, security or to meet legal obligations.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted service providers that help us host the website, deliver email and manage our business calendar. They may process limited personal information on our behalf where needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
How we keep it secure
The website uses HTTPS. Enquiry and booking records used by our booking system are stored in a private area of our hosting account that is outside the public website folder. Access to the booking admin area is password protected and subject to additional login security controls.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it for the enquiry, booking, service, business administration or any applicable legal or accounting requirement. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, or transfer of information. Some rights are subject to legal conditions or exemptions.
To make a request or ask a privacy question, email liv@dogdaysphoto.co.uk.
Marketing
Submitting a session enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. We will not use your enquiry email address or phone number to send marketing messages unless we have an appropriate separate basis to do so.
Cookies
The public website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The private booking admin area uses a necessary session cookie so that an authorised administrator can remain securely logged in while managing bookings.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
